Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500

The Samsung I9500 Galaxy S4 are now with better features and upgraded software. What I have here was the White Frost version that has a solid glossy white look with a similar rounded feel like S3, they have 2 more versions with the colors of Black Mist and Arctic Blue. When you take a closer look of the white plastic finish, you'll see a fine diamond pattern beneath the gloss surface, it's a nice touch. This model looks a lot more premium with the faux metal band too. It's 8mm device thickness and weight at 130g.

The screen on S4 has been increased once more with a stunning screen of larger display to a whopping 5-inch Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with native damage resistance, Super Amoled capacitive touchscreen of 16M colors with Full HD resolution which is 1080 x 1920 pixels, 441 ppi pixel density. The home key has been upgraded too, with a more solid feel under the thumb when you press down to get back to the main home screen.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is powered with super fast processor by Octa-Core Processor of 1.6 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A15 & 1.2 GHz Quad-core Cortex-A7 with 2 GB RAM. The device also has 16/32/64 GB internal storage and supports micro-SD expansion up to 64 GB. It supports Wifi, NFC, GPS, 3G and 4G LTE (market dependent). It packs in a Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery and using Micro-SIM, running on the latest Android OS, v4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Lock Screen
Touch Wiz interface
Notification Tray

In interface part, general Android / TouchWiz interface is still the same as ever: this means that you can throw as many widgets and apps all over the home screens that you like. For instance, when you swipe down from the top, you can toggle everything from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to special features like Air Gesture and Smart Scroll. You can even customize with quick setting buttons appear at the top of the notification panel.

One of the features that I like was the Samsung smart scroll which you can use this smart scroll features to scroll through emails or webpages up or down when reading by nodding your head up or down or you can also just tilt your device back and forth to scroll pages.

If you're watching a video, you can use Samsung smart pause because when you look away from the screen if something catches your eye, the video can be paused automatically and video will resumes when you look back at the screen so that you will not missed any part of the video and also no need to playback.

In term of camera, S4 has a new photo-taking experience which equipped with 13MP rear camera of 4128 x 3096 pixels, auto focus, LED flash and 2MP front camera 1080p@30fps, supports for dual video call. It feature dual shot, simultaneous HD video and image recording, touch focus, face and smile detect.

Besides the air gesture and air view features in S4, I like the most is all these amazing features of the camera as I love to take pics all the time. You can capture 2 scenes at once with the dual camera, capture the action with drama shot, make your photo come to life with sound and shot and you can even record your story in photo with the story album. Really a fun experience with all these features from S4 camera. =)

CSR Racing
Hardest Game Ever 2

For the purpose of gaming test, I’ve downloaded and played two popular Android games (which I think is popular ;p) in order to give me an idea of just how well it’s perform while playing games. I’ve played CSR Racing and Hardest Game Ever 2 for test and found both games perform perfectively without any lag, this really makes me enjoying playing games with S4 because I am active gamer. Other than that, bigger screen also one of the fact I like Galaxy S4 very much, as it makes everything from surfing the Web and playing games more pleasantly.
