The Steakhouse at The Whisky Bar KL

I'm a beef lover, hence I'm so excited when I was invited to try out one of the best steak house in KL as been heard lots of good reviews of the restaurant. The Steakhouse is located at Changkat Bukit Bintang KL which is very far from my house and the day I went was during weekday, we was actually very rush to get there. >.<

The Steakhouse is a 40-seater steak joint along Changkat Bukit Bintang and adjacent to The Whisky Bar. It's a fine dining place with dim light, cozy and exclusive environment that create a classy feel. Definitely a perfect place for dinner and relax after work with a glass of cocktail or wine~

~ DRINKS ~

Old Fashioned : Bourbon, orange, sugar and soda. - RM 28

As it's our first visit, the waiter was kind enough to recommend us their  recommended drinks which might suit us. I'm actually not so into alcoholic drinks so the taste was too strong for me but my friends who loves to drink, they are actually enjoyed it alot.

~ STARTERS & SALAD ~

Air Dried Spanish Beef Ham served with rock melon and cherry tomatoes.

Baked Portobello Mushroom served with spinach and seafood.

The Air dried spanish beef ham was a lil too salty so it's good to paired with the rock melon or cherry tomato and the taste is much more nicer. As for the Baked portobello mushroom, it taste so nice til it's not enough for us ;p

~ MAIN COURSE ~

Beef Stroganoff : Beef stripes in creamy mushroom sauce with potato rosti. - RM 48

Grilled Black Cod Fish served with parsley, potato, mushroom and creamy wasabi pesto sauce. - RM 58

Seafood Aglio Olio served with fresh prawns, fish, squid and scallop tossed with garlic oil, fresh basil and chilli. - RM 39

If you are not a beef lover there are many other varieties as well. Among all these 3 courses, I like the most was the Grilled Black Cod Fish as it's real fresh and juicy. As I like to eat pasta so I will not missed out to order my all time favorite, Seafood Aglio Olio. So far it taste good, just a lil salty too.

~ AUSTRALIAN BEEF ~

Chilled Australian Grain Fed : Striploin (300gm) - RM 68

Medium Rare

Chilled & Aged Black Angus : Tenderloin (200gm) - RM 98

Medium Rare

Sauce :  béarnaise, black pepper, red wine, mushroom and BBQ.

Mashed potato : few style of potatoes to choose like fried, mashed and sautéed.

Of course it's a must for steak when u are here in steakhouse as it's the signature dish. The beef is imported from Australia and you can choose between the aged Black Angus and grain fed. Thereon, choose from five cuts – medallion, tenderloin, rib-eye, T-bone and striploin then choose your sauce, style of potatoes and vegetables (grilled asparagus, sweet corn, sautéed spinach etc). All cuts are grilled over charcoal, a style popularised by the Argentinians. My favorite was the mouth watering Chilled & Aged Black Angus - Tenderloin, it was incredibly tender which cooked to perfection and way beyond excellence with the red wine sauce! I can say it's one of the best steak I ever had so far, you really must try this.

Well after having such a delightful dinner we must end with some sweet treats. :) For girl like me who love chocolate, then you must try out Andrea's Special which rich in chocolate, yums~ Overall was just so amazingly delicious and satisfied, you might feels it's abit costly but in terms of the services and quality of food worth every cents you spend here.
